Have you taken a look at your CBOE PUT/CALL chart lately? The 10-day (I know you're looking at 20-day ma, but the 10-day is a good indicator going back the last year) moving average has gotten to a ridiculous extreme around .71 indicating a major top forming in the market over the last two days. Take a look, you might be surprised.

did you get man-handled on your short gold silver trade? did you use long puts?
